About Solid Gear
Founded in 2008, Solid Gear set out to challenge the idea that safety footwear had to mean heavy, traditional work boots. Its footwear is developed around the movements and demands of professional workers, combining insights from real working environments with extensive laboratory testing and modern footwear technology.
Today, the range extends from lightweight safety trainers and shoes to rugged waterproof boots for demanding outdoor conditions. Technologies and materials from specialists including BOA®, GORE-TEX®, Vibram®, Michelin®, CORDURA® and OrthoLite® feature across selected models.
