About Nora
Nora is the specialist work and safety footwear brand of the Spirale Group, which has been designing and manufacturing boots since 1975. Nora’s polyurethane footwear is designed and manufactured entirely in Italy, with the range developed around the real working conditions encountered across agriculture, construction, industry and food processing.
The range extends from occupational waterproof boots to certified safety models, using materials including polyurethane, nitrile rubber and specialist PVC compounds. Premium NORAMAX and NORATHERM polyurethane boots place particular emphasis on durability, flexibility, thermal insulation and comfortable long-term wear.

Nora takes a specialist approach to waterproof work footwear, developing different materials and boot designs around the environments in which they’re actually used. The result is a range covering everything from everyday wet-working conditions to certified protection for demanding industrial applications.
Made in Italy
Nora’s polyurethane boots are designed and manufactured entirely at the company’s Cinte Tesino facility in Trentino, Italy. The brand combines specialist footwear manufacturing experience with ongoing research into materials, comfort and performance.
Advanced Polyurethane
The NORAMAX and NORATHERM collections use BASF Elastopan® polyurethane, chosen for its low density, flexibility and thermal-insulation properties. Nora says its polyurethane ranges also offer greater durability and flexibility than conventional PVC or rubber boots.
Professional Safety Protection
Nora produces occupational and certified safety footwear for different working environments. Selected S5 models provide 200-joule toe protection, penetration resistance, antistatic properties, heel energy absorption and profiled slip-resistant outsoles. Specifications vary between models.
Designed for Specialist Industries
Rather than producing a single general-purpose wellington, Nora develops footwear around specific industries. Dedicated ranges are available for agriculture, food processing, industry and construction, with features selected for the hazards and conditions encountered in each environment.
